Our visit to KC

Charlie and I visited Kansas City last week, to meet Charlie's great Gran and Pops. It was a great trip. Charlie especially enjoyed meeting the dogs, Gretchen and Heidi, who thought he was their puppy, and followed him around, trying to mother him, the entire time.

We are so proud of our little Charlie getting an early start on his way to becoming the feather-weight champion of the world!!!!

Charlie's Baptism

Charlie was baptized this last Sunday at Providence by our dear friend, David Rea. When David poured the water on his head, Charlie gave one loud squawk of protest, and then promptly fell asleep for the rest of the service. (Phew!) It was a very special day. Many from both sides of the family were able to be there and to celebrate with us.





Our dear friends, the Wynnes, also had their son Robert baptized, which made the day extra special for us.

Charlie was privileged to wear his great great grandfather's baptismal gown from 1900. What a picture of the faithfulness of God to our children and to our children's children! It was a wonderful day!

The Look of Love

Aunt Amy came to visit, wearing a dress that Charlie just LOVED. He continued to stare at the pattern the entire time she was visiting....he was not interested in anything else! Amy, you may have a future in infant fashion design!!!

A big week!

This week Charlie went to his cousin Cici's first birthday party (Happy Birthday Cici!),



he met his cousin Eloise and his Aunt Emily, who came in from Vail to celebrate with Cici and to see Charlie,

he visited with his Aunt Missy, who came in town for the day to see him,

and he went to see his Great Granny!



We also had some winter weather, and Charlie had to be bundled up--very sweet. It was a big week!!!!
