Birthday Fun!
Charlie's birthday this year was a BIG DEAL because he has been looking forward to it for 11 and a half months. It seemed like it was worth the wait, but over far too soon for his liking. ;)

An Update....
I realize that no one may ever look at this blog anymore because I haven't posted in....forever! But, I'd like to start back up again. Here are some pics from Christmas (my mom and brother-in-law took a lot of them, so the Averitt side of the family is not represented, as I am a horrible picture taker in social situations! Sorry!). Here are a few random Christmas pics.
I love reading blogs, especially blogs that belong to friends who live far away. I feel like I know the personalities of your children, even though I may have never met them. I feel like I know what your year has been like, happy, sad, difficult, or crazy. I love to watch my friends' families grow and figure out this great gift called life. Plus...I'm beginning to feel a bit like a stalker, since I never update our blog, but carefully watch everyone else's. So, here's my best effort to get back on track!

The reason most of our Christmas pictures this year were of Annie...Charlie's not a fan of the camera.
Annie was thrilled to get her pink bike she had asked Santa for!
Cookies Christmas Eve!
Annie's current favorite family member is "Baby Twes!" She loves to hold him and cuddle him. Watch out, Tres, Annie is getting a new baby cousin in May. The title of favorite may be coming to an end for you! I'm sure you will really miss the smotherings.
This is the best we could do for a family shot. At least you can see everyone's face!
Cousins! (Charlie is holding his new 'flart' which makes a lovely tooting noise and stains clothing. Thanks, Aunt Amy. That's what sisters are for).
And yes, the pic with Santa. No, we didn't forget Annie. She was afraid to sit with Santa. But just before we left, she ran up to Santa and yelled (keeping a good 2 foot distance), "Pink bicycle!" and then ran away. She's a girl who knows how to get what she wants!
