He got to do everything with his older cousins! They even took baths together!
He got to go on a hayride and roast marshmallows (he refused to get off the hayride for the first few minutes after we reached our destination...thus the picture with Charlie by himself in the hay).
Positive peer pressure--Charlie ate all kinds of things he normally scoffs at, just because his cousins were eating it!
The highlight for Charlie: riding the horsie! His stuffed horsie at home just has not had the same appeal since he tried out the real thing!

Charlie loved hiking...he ran most of the way, only stopping to throw rocks in streams!
Rocking on the back porch in the rockers Grandad got--he bought a darling toddler sized one, but they much preferred the big people rockers!

a little birdie told me there was an update on the blog...SO CUTE! I'm lovin the hay ride pic, we definitely are going to have to get the chaneys to bring theirs out for christmas this year!! Miss you, love you!!
