Spring has Sprung!

We are so happy that the weather is nice and we can finally be outside. With as much energy as Charlie has, a little running around goes a long way (in fact his daddy and he have taken to jogging at night to get some of that energy out...they go quite a long way for a two year old, and he loves it!) Here are some pictures from our latest outdoor adventures.

We love the arboretum! Charlie was not in a great mood on this day, so Annie and I had our pictures taken while Charlie chased squirrels. (Special thanks to Kristi Breed and Mrs. Breed for taking the pictures and helping keep Charlie from escaping while we posed!) Do you love this bow or what!!? (Graham hates it, I love it...so she gets to wear it while he's at work!)


The squirrels were much more interesting than saying cheese and smiling at the camera!

Connor and Annie are such troopers, going everywhere with their big brothers, tired or not. Annie thought Connor's shoulder looked like a good place to snuggle up to for a rest...if only for a moment.
Spring is not complete, of course, without a neighborhood egg hunt!! Charlie was much more interested in his friends than the eggs (and who wouldn't be with fun friends like Robert and John Randall!). He also, sweetly, spent a lot of time trying to find a pink egg for Annie...alas, no pink eggs. He lost a lot of crucial time in the egg scramble, ending up with a mere 5 eggs. What a sweet brother.

We were rather surprised that he was not too scared of the giant Easter bunny to get a pic!


Though not very outdoorsy, Annie did try rice cereal last week...it was a success!!

A trip to the zoo with Mimi....so fun!!!! He especially enjoys snakes these days (what is it with boys and scaly animals?), and the giant boa was a favorite...yuck!
