Annie was baptized Sunday, March 21. It was a sweet, sweet precious day for our whole family. Annie wore the gown I wore for my baptism...and thank goodness it included a cute bonnet that covered that "not so appropriate for formal events" hairdo of hers. She got a special necklace from my grandmother which she wore with a ring that was given to me by that same grandmother when I was baptized. It was beautiful, and it is our prayer that just as the dress and ring were handed down to her, the Lord will be faithful to ensure that the faith that has been given her parents will also be given to her, that the sign given in baptism will be made real in her life. Oh that she might know the deep, deep love of Jesus!

Despite Charlie's uninterested look, he was actually really excited about the whole thing. He spent all morning yelling, "Annie get baptize! Annie get baptize!"
Our dear friend and brother, David Rea, baptized Annie. David was not stingy with the water, putting a big handful on her sweet little head.
And she let us know that she did not like that one bit!!!
